TIME

time-projects.net is a platform created to explore topics related to physical movement among dancers of different ages. TIME’s first chapter focuses on queering virtuosity. The intention is to deviate from the standard idea of virtuosity in dance. The act of queering, as applied here, is to find alternative perspectives to approach virtuosity. The other, the other, the potentially strangers find. This enables our understanding of virtuosity to be enriched. Through physical, reflective and written research, six dancers of varying ages explored virtuosity. They explored and continue to explore their individual imaginations, the group’s imagination and an ongoing questioning of virtuosity in dance as a whole.
