Cristina is a performer, choreographer, and teacher based out of Munich, Germany.
Her trajectory as a dancer starts with ballet in Torino, her hometown, and consolidates after graduating at the Montecarlo dance academy Princess Grace in 2005. Two years later, Cristina moves to Florence, where she starts her professional training in contemporary dance at the Opus Ballet. Then, between 2009 and 2011, she dances for the Opus Ballet Company and works with international choreographers such as German Jauregui, Peter Mika, and Loris Petrillo. In the meanwhile, she also collaborates in two productions with the Centrale Produzioni theatre company.
Since 2010, and for the next five years, Cristina tours in the USA, China, Mexico, Bahrein, France, and Spain for the TPO company. The Florence cultural program Notti fiorentine hosts her first two choreographic works: “E=mc2” (2011) and “Storie con-divise” (2012). In 2013 she participates to the Italian-Tunisian theatre project “Nostoi” directed by Michael Marmarinos and funded by the European Commission. In the same year, she joins the Gabriellasecchi Company for the production “RI-conoscere” performed during the Ballo pubblico festival in Siena. In 2014 Cristina dances at the Biennale College Danza in Venice in “À demain” by Anton Lacky.
In 2015 she moves to Munich and one year later she is directed by Johannes Härtl in two productions, “Super Heroes” and “Blood lines”, premiered in Munich. In the same year, she performs in two experimental improvisation productions that brought together photographers, dancers, musicians, and writers: “I am a real life”, and “For, To, Step, Next”. She is the co-founder of the project Darkrocksflying with choreographer Ryan Mason, with which she produced and created the piece “Through the windshield” performed at Black-Box Gasteig and later at Schwere Reiter during the Hier=Jetzt! festival. She is also among the of co-founders of the collective FIKA contemporanea danza based out of Florence.
In 2017 she joints the Bayerische Staatsoper for two productions: “Tannhäuser” under the direction of Romeo Castellucci and the choreography of Cindy Van Acker, and “Die Gezeichneten” directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski and the choreographer Claude Bardouil.
In 2018 she directs and choreographs her own production “somewhere / shared” premiered at the Munich centre of Community Arts (MUCCA) and financed by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich.Today, Cristina is a faculty teacher for contemporary dance at the Iwanson international dance school in Munich.
